A custom conversion of a quonset hut into an art gallery and residence in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The client merged their art gallery at the ground floor and a custom built open loft apartment above the gallery. The rear deck was designed with plants and new decking and the original structure remained in tact. New skylights were added to give the space more light, while new bathroom fittings, finishes, and custom kitchen were added to the main living space. New flooring and basic interior finishes kept the space open and simple. Completed 2011.
